SCRAP STEEL

Scrap steel is separated from all loads.
Non Ferrous metals are collected by S J Metals, they take our Aluminium Cans, stainless steel, brass and copper.
SIMS Metals take and process our ferrous metals. It is shredded and used in a number of applications both locally and internationally.

WOOD

Wood is also separated from all loads and sent off to be turned into other consumable items. Our shop on site takes the saleable pieces. NZ Native wood commands the highest price.
The remainder is sent to Green Gorilla. Wood is chipped and used by Golden Bay Cement, chipped wood supplements coal useage.
Auckland Council are working with the Building Industry to reduce the amount of timber waste being sent to Landfill.
