Green Waste

‘Green Waste’ includes grass clippings, garden trimmings (prunings) and small trees and branches – less than 100mm wide. This can be brought to the site to be sent away for organic composting at local company Envirofert Tuakau.
There are fees for this service, see our Fees and charges here. 
Big trees, palm trees of any size, bamboo and flax are charged at landfill rates as they cannot be sent for composting.
We also offer a greenwaste wheelie bin collection service within Waiuku (Weekly) and Patumahoe (Fortnightly).
